Why School Fundraisers Need Better Incentives

Learn how to make your school fundraising great again

The only people who seem excited about incentives for School Fundraisers are the students at the kickoff assembly. Companies do a great job of hyping the prizes, but we all know they never deliver in the end. Once all is said and done, most students win cheap dollar store prizes while a limited few get the “better” ones.

To win the better prizes, a lot of items have to be sold. Unfortunately, students don’t figure this out until the hype of the kickoff assembly has past and they’ve had a chance to review the prize flyer. As a result, most become discouraged and end up not even try to sell. Others start selling, but then realize that reaching the higher prize levels is more difficult than they initially thought and stop. Is it no wonder that most schools only achieve about 10-15% participation? And most who do participate will sell very little.

What’s the Impact?

Schools don’t stop and think of the potential money that they could be making. For example, consider a school with 500 students. If each of them sold just 5 items they could potentially bring in $40,000! How much money is your school leaving on the table? Your greatest fundraising resource is your students, and most school fundraisers fall well short of what they could make.

So What’s The Solution?

The key to experiencing a successful school fundraiser is finding a way to improve student participation. Easier said than done right? Not necessarily. To get more students to sell you simply have to get them off the fence.

We’ve found that to do that, you have to offer students something big for selling a small number of items. In other words, why not make it easy for every student to win the big prize after selling just a few items? This turns to fundraise on its head.

So instead of offering the good prizes at the end, offer an even better prize at the beginning where everyone can experience it. This will get all of your students excited about your fundraiser.

Why Big Event Prize Programs Are the Answer?

So what’s a big event prize program anyway? The name should give it away. A big event prize program is a special party or shows that’s brought into your school as a student reward for reaching an easily obtainable sales goal. We do all of the preparation and set up; all you have to do is have your students excited and ready to experience it!

So what events do we offer?

Schools can choose any 1 of the following 4 big events:

1. Big Event Super Party: Every student who sells 8 or more items from their fundraising brochure will get to attend the super party. We’ll bring in over $100,000 worth of inflatable games, like a 72-foot-long obstacle course, a 2-story slide, sports area and so much more here.

2. Big Event Magic Show.: Students only have to sell 5 items from their brochure to gain admission to our magic show. This event is both fun and educational because schools get to pick from 8 unique curriculum-based assemblies. Our magicians perform amazing illusions that tell a magical story based on the theme that you choose. know more about

3. Big Event Reptile Adventures: Our most unusual big event is our reptile show. Selling 5 items gets you into this truly extraordinary event where students get to see, learn about, and touch live reptiles.
How would you like to see a huge snake that can grow to be longer than a school bus, or a giant tortoise that can live almost 200 years?

4. Big Event Super Splash Party: A great end of the school year incentive. Students who sell 8 items get to attend our super splash party where they get to go on a wild rapids ride, giant water slide, slip-n-slide and experience our incredible water tag arena. This event is so much fun that many schools end up making more money in the spring than they did in the fall!

It’s All in the Results

The numbers never lie. Here’s a small sampling of schools that switched to a big event prize program after using a traditional incentive plan the previous year:

  1. Look at the way my pal Wesley Virgin's adventure begins with this shocking and controversial VIDEO.

You see, Wesley was in the army-and soon after leaving-he unveiled hidden, "self mind control" secrets that the CIA and others used to obtain everything they want.

THESE are the exact same tactics many famous people (especially those who "come out of nothing") and elite business people used to become wealthy and successful.

You've heard that you only use 10% of your brain.

Mostly, that's because the majority of your BRAINPOWER is UNTAPPED.

Maybe this expression has even taken place IN YOUR very own brain... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's brain around 7 years ago, while driving an unlicensed, beat-up bucket of a car without a driver's license and with $3 on his debit card.

"I'm very fed up with going through life check to check! Why can't I become successful?"

You took part in those types of questions, ain't it right?

Your success story is waiting to be written. You just need to take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.

Is the Why Behind Your High School Fundraiser Enough?

Learn why you shouldn’t depend solely on your high school fundraising purpose to achieve your financial goals Everyone knows that there are countless reasons that school fundraising groups  need money. The question is, is your purpose alone enough to inspire your students to want to make sales?   For example, an elementary school may think that people are acutely aware that the school needs new library books or learning software for its students. Therefore, because there is what the school thinks is an obvious need, the motivation to want to raise money will automatically be there. A high school soccer team has to pay for travel expenses, tournament fees, and uniforms. And since the soccer players want to travel so they can play, they’ll eagerly want to take care of this need otherwise they won’t get to go. It’s worth pointing out that there is a difference in how the purpose can help motivate groups based on the type and size. As a rule, smaller groups tend to average hi

What Makes Cheerleader Fundraising Profitable for Companies?

Learn why cheerleader fundraisers typically raise more money per student than most other school groups. Any business transaction has to be a win for both sides. The school is looking for a company that’s going to help them raise the most money possible with the least amount of hassle. And obviously, the company wants the group to take full advantage of its resources.  What do we mean by that? We always look forward to when groups make the decision to work with us. We get even more excited when the group exceeds its financial objectives.  This means 2 things: The group is more likely to work with us again next time, and  We make more as well. In our 20 plus years of experience, we’ve found more high school cheerleader fundraising groups meet these 2 criteria than any other. Any company that’s worth their salt should make it a priority to provide sales tools designed to help groups increase the total amount of money they bring in. The best sales brochure and the most

Are You Experiencing Real School Fundraiser Satisfaction?

Discover how to ask the right questions to make sure that you’re getting the most out of your school fundraising program   Most sponsors that appear satisfied with their school fundraisers   are also most likely content with their current company. There’s no reason to change. The company does everything they ask. Their student fundraising packets arrived at the school already collated, their kickoff went off without a hitch, and the products showed up in good condition with very few issues. In the grand scheme of things, nothing really seemed to go wrong.  What more could any school expect?   At least on the surface, everything went as expected. In reality, as is the case with many schools, if they were to probe a little deeper, issues just might be uncovered that no one has thought about before. There are always ways to do things better that could help make a school’s fundraising results even better.  The real question that every school should be asking is, “Are you satis
